AS – Students study a variety of modern plays, poetry and novels
A2 – Texts examining presentation of love in a variety of texts

40% coursework
60% exam
AS – 2 pieces of coursework with a total of 2500 words - 1 piece comparison - 1 piece transformational writing
A2 – coursework folder will be completed on texts studied
Where could this course lead?
English Literature is a good A level to do – develops independence of thought and opinions. Prepares well for further education.
