How is this course assessed?
This course is assessed through a portfolio of Assignment work. The work carried out in the theory based units (1 – 3) will generally be assessed through their practical application in the other four units.

Where could this course lead?
BTEC Nationals in Media – then University for Media / TV & Film Studies courses. Good preparation for an apprenticeship in the creative and media industries

Additional information:
This course will teach you about the media industry whilst giving you a chance to work with some of the technologies available in the industry. You will work on school based equipment (video and audio recording) as well as visiting studios in Birmingham and working with professionals from the creative and media industry. If you have big ideas and a creative flair, this course will definitely give you a chance to develop your own
individual voice.
